Here is one of our most recent birthday cakes. The Lambretta is handmade from sugar as are the album covers and records…the centre stand on the scooter did its job well as the whole cake travelled securely to a party in Yorkshire. This is a 9 inch round, four layer sponge cake filled with vanilla buttercream, strawberry jam, coated in milk chocolate ganache then covered with sugarpaste. We loved delivering and setting this wedding cake up at the stunning Gate Street Barn in Guildford. The cake was a 5 layer chocolate sponge cake filled with light vanilla buttercream, drizzled with salted caramel sauce and decorated with juicy blackberries and fresh figs. This gorgeous cake was made for Julie and Sheryl’s joint 50th birthday party held at Farnborough Football Club. The rich chocolate cake was adorned with all their favourite things including a totally handmade pair of sugar shoes.
