I loved creating this fabulous cake for Clipper Tea who were celebrating 25 years of working with Fairtrade. The teapot was chocolate sponge cake, middle tier a zesty lemon sponge cake and the base tier a vanilla sponge cake. The entire cake was covered with the Squires Kitchen Sugarpaste which is Fairtrade – I always try and use Fairtrade sugarpaste on my cakes where possible.[...]
I was delighted to work with our client to produce a trio of delicious cakes for a wedding at Gate Street Barn in Bramley, Surrey. The middle tier was a zesty lemon sponge drip cake, on the left was a coffee and walnut cake topped with a crescent moon of cappuccino macarons and chocolate coffee beans. On the right hand side was a raspberry and white chocolate sponge cake topped with a white chocolate drip and a crescent of meringue kisses, chopped pistachios and raspberry pieces.[...]
